This is a picture of me and my big brother. He is going with me to Maine next Thursday. It will be so much fun!!!

Many things were completed yesterday. My art website is well underway. Nathan got the domain name for deehenry.com. Check out what he has up right now on the web. We have more to add and it should be completed by the end of the weekend. I spent some time writing an artist statement that will be on the site. I think this was a good exercise because it made me focus on my artistic goals. My business cards will look like the main page of the website.

Pray for us for safe travel and a month of artistic accomplishments!!!

I hope to get a lot of things accomplished today. The website is going to get worked on and I will finish some artwork. Now I'm off to walk the dog.

Sunday-- 10 Days Until Departure

The milkweed in my backyard is in full bloom and I have spotted monarchs several times. This photograph was taken from my patio recently. I hope to see a few caterpillars before I depart.

I'm working this afternoon on revising my landscape drawing handout that I will use for my public programs in Acadia. I discussed travel plans with family yesterday. On Monday I will be working at school on my web presence for my elementary science position that I will move into in August.

There is a great deal that remains to be done before I leave, but I am enjoying all of it. My Higher Power has brought me to this place and time. Thank You so much!

Domestic:

Trim bushes

Fertilize garden

Arrange for plants to be watered

Decide on a day to take pets to sitters

Clean just before I leave

Pay bills

Clean out car

Artistic:

Finish small pastels and mat them

Practice with my plein air set up

Revise drawing handout for the public

Settle on materials that I will bring

Complete website and business cards

Personal:

Decide on clothes, books

Make sure I have all phone numbers and email addresses

Meg and Sesame will be staying with friends for the month. Meg is a 12 year old English Setter and Sesame is about one year old.
